A Little Bit of History.....

Santorineos Family Farm is located on 12 acres of land in North Central Illinois in the LaSalle County area. We are new to the world of Community Supported Agriculture but we're not new to growing quality produce. Our family and the dirt go way back, serving the Joliet area for nearly 100 years as truck farmers and general purveyors of good will towards all who love tomatoes.

These days we aim to spread much more than "tomato love," and specialize in growing a wide variety of vegetables including Greek heirloom varieties. Though our veggies are our pride and joy, our farm supports a variety of fruits, flowering plants, honeybees and free range chickens.

This year you may find our produce at the Streator Downtown Farmer's Market or through our CSA program.

We are not certified organic, nor do we intend to become certified organic. However, we operate our farm without the use of GMOs, pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers and are dedicated to sustainable agricultural practices. We pull weeds by hand, slow pests down through the use of companion crops and use food grade ingredients if we feel we must spray for a rowdy group of aphids. We have children and we eat the food we grow too! Our job is to provide you some of the safest, freshest, most flavorful food you've ever tasted.

We welcome you to our farm! Take a look around our website and check out what we have to offer. If you have questions or are interested in trying out some of our farm's offerings, email or give us a call.
